Official website

SAP Center is a full-size arena seating 17,562 in San Jose, CA, home to the San Jose Sharks of the NHL. The arena hosts NHL hockey and other events, making it one of the busiest event venues in the San Jose area.

Like most NHL venues, SAP Center enforces a clear bag policy. All bags brought into the arena must be transparent plastic, vinyl, or PVC no larger than 12"×6"×12". Each fan may also bring one small non-clear clutch or wristlet (up to 4.5"×6.5"). To avoid any issues at the gate, bring a clear bag that meets the size requirements (12"×6"×12" maximum) and arrive early — security lines move faster when bags are transparent. A one-gallon clear zip-lock bag is an inexpensive alternative if you need a quick solution. If you arrive with a non-compliant bag, SAP Center offers locker or bag check services near the entrance.
